AAT level 2 qualified Michelle specialises in supporting small businesses, charities and accountants with preparatory bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and invoicing, as well as setting up the tools and workflows to make these tasks as efficient as possible.

ACAS-trained Lynne is passionate about supporting small businesses and charities to recruit, onboard and retain both employees and trustees with processes and policies that put people first.

Do I need to buy all your services?

We recognise that clients don't need all of our skillsets at every stage of their business journey. So although we offer them, they're never forced upon you.
Only need a VA? No problem.
Want ongoing VA support with occasional OBM input? That's fine.
Just need an extra pair of hands to get a project up and running? We've got you.
Are you an agency?

No. By Your Side Business Support is a partnership between a VA and an OBM. We never outsource, nor delegate beyond the pair of us.
For our clients, this means you have access to a wider range of specialist services than either of us provide alone, plus cover during periods of leave.
For us, it means working closely with someone and provides the understanding and support that we were lacking as sole traders.
I just want to work with one person, is that ok?

For VA and/or bookkeeping support, Michelle will be your single point of contact.
For OBM or Recruitment/Onboarding support, Lynne will be your single point of contact.
If at any stage you’re working with both of us, you will hear from both of us, or you could request a single point of contact for ease.
